LexDAO July Recap
It’s been quite a month in all things legal crypto. The SEC case against Ripple is heating up, the CFTC is throwing shade at the SEC for their latest round of regulation by enforcement, Celsius declared bankruptcy, and who knows what’s going on with 3AC.
What’s New in LexDAO
LexDAOism: Jacob Chase-Lubitz discusses how community finance will dominate the next crypto boom, and Paolo Maria Gangi discusses the EUIPO Guidance on NFTs.
Twitter Spaces - Earlier this month, LexDAO’s own Luis Miranda hosted our very first Spanish Legal Engineering chat and absolutely delivered. With over 400 people tuning in, Luis was able to share his knowledge and it was a big hit! Be sure to keep an eye on the LexDAO twitter for our next spaces discussion.
W3M Coalition is now officially a "Friend of Music Biz Association" and will have the opportunity to speak at their conferences. If you are interested in speaking at a Music Biz event on behalf of W3M, please reach out to bestape#3069 with your bio. More info can be found on Discord.
GR14 spending proposal - bestape#3069 has drafted a proposal for spending the $55,555 we received from Gitcoin's 14th grant round. Please comment on the draft here. Likely on August 1st, the draft will be published on the LexDAO Website for public debate before a snapshot vote takes place. If you want to be a part of the discussions join the August 10th governance calls in Discord!
